Press sheets for the recent A Charlie Brown Christmas issue have sold out, the United States Postal Service has confirmed to Linn’s Stamp News.

The Postal Service offered 500 press sheets with die cuts and 1,500 press sheets without die cuts when the stamps were issued Oct. 1. Each press sheet consists of 160 stamps (eight double-sided panes of 20) and sold for $78.40.

Confirmation of the sellout was received Oct. 21.

The stamps featuring scenes from the 1965 television special A Charlie Brown Christmas were issued Oct. 1. The Postal Service ordered an initial printing of 500 million stamps.

The individual double-sided panes of 20 with 10 different designs are still available at local post offices and from the USPS online store.
