Another upright Jenny Invert pane surfaces, soakable stamps explored: Week's Most Read

This upright $2 Jenny Invert pane of six, the 25th to be discovered, is reported by a collector in New Jersey, who received the intentionally printed variety from the U.S. Postal Service in a mail order.

5. USPS official’s news at APS Stampshow pleasing to many collectors: At Stampshow, Mary-Anne Penner, the new acting director of the U.S. Postal Service’s Stamp Services department, announced three additions to the 2015 United States stamp program, and said there won’t be any more.

4. U.S. Official postal savings mail stamp is a good buy: For a simple challenge, look for the dark violet 1¢ stamp (Scott O124) in at least the grade of very fine.

3. U.S. Postal Service responds to article about religious themes on stamps: The USPS will offer existing religious-theme Christmas stamps at post offices this year, but it does not plan to issue a new stamp.

2. USPS Stamp Services exploring possibility of soakable stamps: Penner suggested it might be only one soakable stamp a year.

1. Stamp order from Postal Service delivers upright $2 Jenny Invert pane No. 25: An order for postage placed through the Stamp Fulfillment Services division of the United States Postal Service turned up quite a find for one lucky New Jersey collector.
