Coin operated phones — on stamps

Collectors looking for a focused collecting topic should be interested in this month's article about phone booths on stamps worldwide. With the spread of cell phone use, pay phones are a rare sight these days, both in public places and on stamps.

We have details about the eight new United States stamps planned for release in July, which celebrate stars of baseball and dance, and a look back at the Society of Philatelic Americans souvenir sheet issued 75 years ago.

Other features this month include photos from first-day ceremonies held during the recent Napex stamp show and the American Topical Association's National Topical Stamp Show.

Enjoy!
