Fewer companies printing stamps for USPS, yet another upright Jenny Invert pane found: Week's Most Read

5. Seven announce candidacies for 2016-19 American Philatelic Society election: Ken Nilsestuen, current treasurer for the APS, announced his candidacy for APS president.

4. 'Jeopardy!' runs Stamps category Sept. 21: Someone on the Jeopardy! staff likes stamps. And that, of course, is a very good thing.

3. Upright Jenny Invert pane received in USPS stamp order: Oklahoma stamp collector Steve Blair received his special pane in an order placed with Stamp Fulfillment Services, the Kansas City, Mo., -based mail-order division of the United States Postal Service.

2. In defense of the U.S. Postal Service: ‘War on Religion’ claim seems a stretch: This issue was brought to the forefront in the national press when the online conservative news and opinion site the Daily Caller published the article “Is the Postal Service Declaring War On Religion?” by reporter Rick Pollock.
