Postal Inspection Service exhibit planned
The Smithsonian’s National Postal Museum in Washington, D.C., is planning an exhibit about the United States Postal Inspection Service.
The exhibit will open this summer, but an exact date has not been determined.
The Postal Inspection Service is the law enforcement division of the U.S. Postal Service.
The museum says the new exhibit, titled “Behind the Badge,” will “examine the inspection service’s history and work through some of its most famous and remarkable cases.”
The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., except on Dec. 25. It is located on Capitol Hill at 2 Massachusetts Ave. Additional information is available at http://postalmuseum.si.edu.
