Coastal Birds press sheets sold out
Uncut press sheets with and without die cuts of the United States nondenominated (35¢) Coastal Birds stamps sold out in mid-June.
A collector told Linn’s June 19 that the press sheets were no longer listed for sale on the U.S. Postal Service’s website.
Linn’s contacted Postal Service spokesman Mark Saunders, who confirmed the sellout of both sheets.
The Coastal Birds stamps were issued June 1 in panes of 20 and in coil rolls of 100 stamps to satisfy the domestic postcard rate.
