2024 Indypex Stamp Show: Sept. 20-22 in Danville

The Indiana Stamp Club is hosting its annual Indypex Stamp Show from Sept. 20-22 at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and Conference Complex, 1900 E. Main St., Danville, Ind.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.

The 2024 Indypex will feature a special cachet honoring the solar eclipse that passed through Indiana on April 8, 2024. The event will also host meetings of the International Machine Cancel Society, the Indiana Postal History Society and the Anthony Wayne Stamp Society, along with several other societies that will have meetings or information tables.

Indypex will include more than 30 dealers and an exhibiting competition with approximately 160 frames. The exhibit committee members are Sharon Newby, John Becker, Randy Marcy, Tom Chastang and Kurt Streepy.

As an American Philatelic Society World Series of Philately Show, the Indypex multiframe grand award winner will qualify for the Champion of Champions exhibition at the Great American Stamp Show, Aug. 14-17, 2025, in Schaumburg, Ill. This year, Indypex will also feature its second five-on-five team exhibiting competition.

The exhibit winning the single-frame grand award will qualify for the single-frame Champion of Champions competition to take place Nov. 21-23, 2025, at Chicagopex near Chicago.

The 2024 Indypex judges include chief judge John Hotchner, along with Christopher Dahle, Bill Fort, Van Siegling, Ken Trettin and Fred Lutt (apprentice).

A banquet will be held on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased in advance by emailing indypex24@indianastampclub.org.
