The Boston 2026 World Expo received a $25,000 donation from Mystic Stamp Co., Thomas Fortunato, the Boston 2026 public relations chair, said in an April 9 press release.

The $25,000 donation from Mystic follows a $25,000 personal donation recently made by the company’s president Donald Sundman.

Boston 2026 president Yamil Kouri said: “We continue to be amazed at the generosity of the entire Mystic organization in their backing of America’s next international exhibition. The company’s slogan as ‘America’s Leading Stamp Dealer’ is certainly befitting their support of the show.”

Mystic employs 110 people at its Camden, N.Y., headquarters and specializes in the buying and selling of postage stamps, collecting supplies and other philatelic items.

The firm became the country’s foremost supplier of first-day covers after purchasing three mass-producers of cacheted covers: Fleetwood in 2007, Colorano’s Silk cachet business in 2016 and Artcraft’s 5 million steel-engraved cover inventory in 2019.

Mystic publishes an annual U.S. stamp catalog with over 160 pages featuring 4,800 stamps. The catalog is available for free from the company’s website.

Boston 2026 World Expo will take place May 23-30, 2026, at the Boston Convention and Exposition Center. Show details and instructions to sign up for email updates can be found on the expo’s website and via the expo’s Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter) and Instagram pages.
