Pipex 2024 exhibitor’s prospectus available

The exhibitor’s prospectus for the Pipex 2024 stamp show is now available. The show will take place May 3-5, 2024, at the Monarch Hotel and Conference Center, 12566 SE 93rd Ave., in Clackamas, Ore.

The exhibitor’s entry form and prospectus are available on the show website or by email from exhibit chair Norma Nielson at nnielson@ucalgary.ca. The deadline for exhibit applications is March 20, 2024.

The show is accepting 60 competitive exhibits and will display up to 160 frames. All exhibits will be mounted at the show and judged in the frames, but exhibitors are also encouraged to submit exhibits virtually to be posted on the Pipex website.

Because Pipex is an American Philatelic Society World Series of Philately show, the multiframe grand award winner is eligible for the Champion of Champions competition at the Great American Stamp Show in Hartford, Conn., Aug. 15-18, 2024.

The Pipex 2024 single-frame grand award winner will be eligible for the single-frame championship at the Chicagopex show near Chicago Nov. 22-24, 2024.

Pipex show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The show will feature a bourse (sales area) of 35 dealer booths, a youth area and more. Special souvenir cachets will commemorate the show’s theme, which marks the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.

The Northwest Federation of Stamp Clubs will hold its annual general meeting at the show. The Society for Czechoslovak Philately, Rhodesian Study Circle, Military Postal History Society, Pacific Northwest Postal History Society and the Auxiliary Markings Club are among the other groups and societies that will also meet.

Pipex is the annual exhibition of the Northwest Federation of Stamp Clubs. Uptown Stamp Show is the corporate sponsor.
