The St. Louis Stamp Expo will take place March 22-24 at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel, 9801 Natural Bridge Road, St. Louis, Mo.

The show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

The $5 admission fee is good for all three days of the show and includes free parking. Children under 16 are admitted free.

On Friday at 11 a.m., the United States Postal Service will conduct a first-day-of-issue ceremony for the Wedding Blooms and Celebration Blooms stamps. The USPS will sell current stamp issues and philatelic items throughout the weekend.

A bourse (sales area) of 37 dealers will offer stamps, covers and postal history from the United States and worldwide, and the show will feature 156 frames of competitive exhibits.

Because the St. Louis Stamp Expo is an American Philatelic Society World Series of Philately show, the multiframe grand award winner is eligible for the Champion of Champions competition at the Great American Stamp Show in Hartford, Conn., Aug. 15-18.

The single-frame grand award winner will be eligible for the single-frame championship at the Chicagopex show Nov. 22-24 in Itasca, Ill.

The St. Louis Stamp Expo awards banquet will take place Saturday evening. The judges will include chief judge Tim Wait, Mark Banchik, Darrell Ertzberger, Kathy Johnson and Michael Ley.

Convening societies at the St. Louis Stamp Expo include the Civil War Philatelic Society, American Revenue Association, State Revenue Society and Poster Stamp Collectors Club.
