Westpex 2024 exhibitor’s prospectus available

The exhibitor’s prospectus is available for the 64th annual Westpex stamp show. The show will take place April 26-28, 2024, at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront Hotel, 1800 Old Bayshore Highway, Burlingame, Calif., near San Francisco.

Westpex 2024 celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Universal Postal Union, and show organizers encourage exhibits on any aspect of the UPU.

This is a World Series of Philately exhibition, with the multiframe grand award winner eligible for the Champion of Champions competition at the Great American Stamp Show in Hartford, Conn., Aug. 15-18, 2024, and the single-frame grand award winner eligible for the single-frame championship at the Chicagopex show near Chicago Nov. 22-24, 2024.

The Westpex exhibition will feature more than 250 frames of exhibits, including participation by the Royal Philatelic Society London, United States Possessions Philatelic Society, Colombia-Panama Philatelic Study Group and the Canal Zone Study Group.

The bourse (sales area) will include more than 70 national and international dealers in stamps, postal history and postal stationery along with a four-day auction by Schuyler Rumsey Philatelic Auctions.

Numerous specialty societies, clubs and study groups will hold meetings and seminars.

A Westpex-sponsored youth area will offer free stamps and supplies to young collectors. On Sunday, April 28, a Boy Scout merit badge program is scheduled.

A special cinderella (stamplike label) souvenir sheet and cacheted cover will be available to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the UPU.
