May 2, 2021, 8 PM

British comedy is the theme of a new 10-stamp series released on April Fool's Day.

Linn's Stamp News gives you a quick look at what's going on in the world of stamp-collecting.

1. April Fool's Day

In honor of the international day of pranks, Royal Mail is issuing a 10-stamp series honoring Britain's favorite comedians.

From our previous report: "An article in the March issue of Royal Mail's British Philatelic Bulletin begins, 'This issue celebrates brilliantly distinctive British humour by paying tribute to generations of comic geniuses — from Norman Wood and Spike Milligan to [Dawn] French and [Jennifer] Saunders, Lenny Henry and Victoria Wood via [Eric] Morecambe and [Ernie] Wise and Monty Python. These are revered practitioners from the past 60 years, including many whose work is considered a landmark in comedy. Released on April Fool's Day (naturally), the issue also features a Presentation Pack, Stamp Cards and a Retail Stamp Book.'"

2. Ramirez stamp release

The U.S. Postal Service launch of the new Martin Ramirez stamps garnered lots of attention on Twitter.

3. Missing Children stamp
