The Hafnia 24 European stamp exhibition will take place Oct. 17-20 at the Oksnehallen conference center in Copenhagen, Denmark. This will be the first time the Hafnia exhibition has been in Copenhagen in more than 22 years.

Show hours are 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

The show celebrates 400 years since Danish King Christian IV signed a regulation implementing the delivery of mail inside the kingdom, thus starting the Danish post.

Hafnia 24 will feature more than 1,300 exhibit frames in a Federation of European Philatelic Associations (FEPA) exhibition using International Federation of Philately (FIP) judging criteria.

Copenhagen Airport is five miles from the conference center. Train and metro services run between the two locations every 20 minutes.

A hotel is connected to the conference center, with more than 15 additional hotels located within walking distance. The show is located near the Copenhagen town square and Tivoli Gardens theme park.

The Copenhagen Philatelic Club is organizing Hafnia 24. For more information about the club, email kasserer@kpk.dk.
