The Milwaukee Philatelic Society will host Wisconsin’s premier philatelic exhibition, Milcopex, June 14-15 at the Brookfield Convention Center, 325 S. Moorland Road, in Brookfield, Wis., about 10 miles west of Milwaukee.

The June dates are new for Milcopex; in past years, the show was held in September.

Show hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Admission and parking are free.

Milcopex expects a bourse (sales area) of more than 20 dealers offering postage and revenue stamps, covers, postal history, stamp collecting supplies and philatelic literature.

The show will include a minimum of 125 frames of competitive exhibits. The exhibitor’s prospectus and applications will be available soon on the show website.

Milcopex is an American Philatelic Society World Series of Philately show. The multiframe and single-frame grand award winners will qualify for the Champion of Champions competitions at the 2025 Great American Stamp Show and Chicagopex, respectively.

The jury for exhibits at Milcopex 2024 will be led by Ken Trettin. Fellow judges include Tim Bartshe and Tim Wait.

The show will host celebrations for the 125th anniversary of the Milwaukee Philatelic Society and the 75th anniversary of the American Topical Association, which was founded in Milwaukee by Jerry Husak.

More details about Milcopex 2024 are available online.
