Collect 17 California State Fair postmarks

Among the many attractions of the July 14-30 California State Fair is the United States Postal Service’s booth.

Attendees could stop by the booth daily to obtain an official fair postmark. A new design was available each day reflecting one of the day’s events or other fair attractions.

The July 20 postmark shown nearby represents the free concerts that the fair offered. (The 2023 fair concert lineup included a variety of artists and musical genres. Among them were Fitz and the Tantrums, Boyz II Men, Ginuwine, LeAnn Rimes, 38 Special, Gin Blossoms, Kool & The Gang, and Trace Adkins, just to name a few.)
